Healthy and Delicious Cooking Class
Cancer survivor, Karen Zokovitch, demonstrates the step by step preparation of a cancer-fighting meal. Bring a pencil and paper to take notes. You must participate in the class to enjoy a delicious lunch!

STRESS REDUCTION PROGRAMS

Powerful Mind
Learn how to enhance your ability to impact your emotional and physical well-being through mind-body practices that may reduce depression and anxiety as well as some physical discomforts. Please be on time. Due to the nature of the activity, latecomers will not be allowed to come in.

Integración Mente-Cuerpo (in Spanish)
Enhance your physical and emotional wellbeing by practicing mind-body connection techniques. Program includes instruction on mind-body techniques as well as the opportunity to practice these techniques.

Meditation Techniques
There are many benefits in meditation practices for cancer survivors and co-survivors. Some benefits may be: Improved concentration, better health, better knowledge of self, and being less bothered by the "little things", among others. Join Dr. Peggy Rios and learn a variety of meditation and breathing techniques which may improve awareness and increase feelings of vitality and health.

MIND-BODY PROGRAMS

Healthy and Delicious Cooking Class

These programs will help you get comfortable in your own body again, and find ways to utilize your body’s own energy for healing. Please bring your own mat & blanket for Yoga and Gentle Exercise classes.

Yoga
Use gentle yoga techniques to release stress and stored tension in your mind and body.

An innovative program designed to show you techniques for muscle relaxation through proper posture and movement.
